Please measure the length of your old guard strip and cut the new one into a same length. Please paste the double-sided tape evenly along the groove on the machine. Please paste the guard strip on the other side of the tape evenly.Please cover the surface of the guard strip with sellotape. What's the cutting guard strip for The cutting guard strip is used on the cutting plotter or vinyl cutter to protect the machine and the blade from being damaged. Without the strip, the cutting plotter will be badly scratched by the sharp blade and the blade will be abrased as well when the cutting plotter is working. How to stick the cutting guard strip on your machine? First you should take off the old cutting guard strip and clean up the machine where the strip covered. Then you can cut a part of your new strip with the same length as your old one. At last, stick the guard strip on your machine with double-sided tape and press it.
