- HIGH CAPACITY DI WASH – Hard water spots are caused by high TDS (calcite) in the water. When water passes through the resin, TDS (total dissolved solids) are removed. The system will remove approximately 113 grams (113,000 PPM) of TDS (about 500 gallons of zero ppm deionized water at 60 PPM of tap water) before you need to replace the resin. This water deionizer for car washing delivers a spot-free rinse without you having to towel dry. Rinse your vehicle using the spot-free car rinse unit and let air dry. It’s as simple as that.
- INLINE TDS MONITOR ON HANDLE BRACKET – To know when to make deionization resin replacement to avoid scale stain on your vehicles, you can simply check the in-line TDS meter conveniently, which will display of TDS of the filtered water real time and any time. If it gets to 5 PPM, you can still wash and rinse your car with no stain, but it is time to order replacement bags of resin. You can avoid the hassle and interruption of collecting water samples and testing with a separate TDS pen. Use the handle bracket to conveniently carry the system around and to open the tank for resin refill or replacement.
- BYPASS VALVE FOR CONVENIENCE – Pointing the bypass valve to the bypass loop, you can use your existing hose sprayer to wash and clean your vehicle with no need to change water source or set-up. When it is time to rinse, just turn the bypass valve in line with the filter tank, you will be able to rinse with TDS free water. The custom bypass valve is built with durable solid brass ball valve with swivel garden hose connector. The 5/8” OD 304 stainless steel braided bypass hose allows high flow of tap water for wetting and soap washing of your car, truck, motorcycle, RV, solar panel or whatever that you need to mix use tap and DI water.
- PROPERLY REGULATED FLOW – The flow rate of the filter water is regulated at 2.4 GPM, a level purposefully chosen to maximize resin life and allow you to use pressure washer or nozzle sprayer of your choice, while maintaining zero PPM. It is an optimal balance that you would appreciate in avoiding some of the shortcomings of other systems. It is a design anchor point that we have always maintained in our CarShine systems.
