Originally released at AWS re:Invent 2018, the A to Z Speedway is the most popular track in AWS DeepRacer history. It offers a compelling challenge for first time participants and experienced racers alike to attempt to navigate with a variety of turns and straightaways. It is the smallest physical footprint offered by AWS for competitive AWS DeepRacer use
- This is the basic track we recommend for beginner events and first-time racers
- This track is printed on 13Oz Matte Vinyl, and comes folded in a single panel
- The physical dimensions measure 18’x27’, making it the smallest DeepRacer physical track offered
- The track itself is 54.32’ long (16.55m) and 3.5’ wide (1.0668m)
- The A to Z Speedway is a 1:1 physical reproduction of the virtual track available for training in in the AWS DeepRacer console (https://console.aws.amazon.com/deepracer/). This enables users to train a model in a virtual environment and deploy their trained model in their physical AWS DeepRacer device to drive autonomously around the track
